About me
Hello, I am Prateek
Python Full Stack Developer
I am a Python Full Stack Developer who builds backend services and web applications that are simple, fast and easy to maintain. Right now I work at Grid Dynamics in Hyderabad, where I build APIs with FastAPI, run background jobs with Temporal and track everything with OpenTelemetry.
I started with Django and plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and I have grown into larger systems with PostgreSQL, Docker and React. I enjoy clean code, clear naming and software that keeps working when it is under load.

What I do
A little more about me
I work across the full stack, but the backend is where I feel most at home.
Backend development
I design REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask and Django. I handle login and tokens, database models with SQLAlchemy, and safe database changes with Alembic.
Databases and data
I work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and SQLite. I write clear queries, plan tables that make sense, and keep the data correct as a project grows.
Workflows and monitoring
I use Temporal to run long jobs that can retry safely, and OpenTelemetry with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo to see traces, metrics and logs in one place.
Frontend that fits
I build interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React. I keep the layout clean, the pages fast and the design easy to read on any screen size.
